Fishing in Wilderness

Our beaches in Wilderness are very popular with the local and holiday fisherman. Many hours are spent trying to hook that big one! Often caught here in front of Dolphin Dunes guesthouse are Cob, Shad and Mussel Cracker.

For those new to preparing freshly caught cob, here is a fabulous recipe, given to us by a good friend and avid fisherman, Max:
Clean and fillet your fish
lightly brush your fillets with olive oil, roll in flower which has been lightly flavoured with herbs, salt and pepper, fry in olive oil and serve immediatedly.

Enjoy!

Golfers Paradise

We had the privilege off welcoming the Wisley Group back to Dolphin Dunes beachfront guesthouse in Wilderness for the third year. During their stay with us, these English gentleman enjoyed a good round of golf at Oubaai and Pezula to name just a few. A lot of bantering goes on whilst serving our trade mark Dolphin Dunes breakfast until it is time to view the scores from the previous day's action and see who is the frontrunner. To Chris, Norman, Robert, Nick and Nick, George, Brian and David(who had the best view this year), we look forward to your return.
After a tough day on the course, our golfers return to the serene beauty of the Wilderness beach at their front door.
